The Legacy of Love Shakespea re’s Sonnets Have Left Us
Abstract
This book is a new translation of Shakespeare’s sonnets with an introduction by the translator, supporting the Oxfordian theory of Shakespeare authorship that Shakespeare is idenrical with Edward de Vere, 17th Earl of Oxford, and its variants,the Prince Tudor theory and Whittemore's Monument theory, which assert that Oxford and Queen Elizabeth I were lovers and had a child who was raised as Henry Wriothesley, 3rd Earl of Southampton, forming a Royal Family triangle of the speaker(Oxford), Fair Youth(Southampton) and the Dark Lady (Elizabeth) in the sonnets, and that the 80 prison sonnets (27 to 106) written during Southampton was arrested as a traitor were kept as a coherent monument.
